Every setup is unique, and while our chiller is built for efficient and consistent cooling, its performance can be influenced by a range of external factors. These can include ambient temperature, water level, placement, and airflow.

To optimise cooling efficiency:

Water Level: Keep water above the bottom outlet and below the top outlet to ensure proper water flow and faster cooling.
Placement: Position the chiller in a shaded, well-ventilated area with at least 50cm of space for airflow.
Insulation: Use all provided lids and ensure an airtight seal to maximise insulation.

While the chiller can be set to low temperatures, reaching the lowest setting is not guaranteed due to external factors. Not achieving this does not indicate a fault in the product.

The 1HP Ultra Chiller can cool water all the way down to 0°C and is powerful enough to form actual ice in the water. Performance depends on ambient temperature, water volume, and setup, but the 1HP compressor delivers true ice bath temperatures faster and more consistently than standard chillers.

Can the Ultra Chiller heat the water too?

Yes. The Ultra Chiller has a built-in heating mode that can take the water up to 42°C. Switch between cold therapy and hot therapy anytime from the app.

How energy efficient is the Ultra Chiller?

Despite its power, the Ultra Chiller is designed to run efficiently. Once your desired temperature is reached, it shuts off automatically while continuing to circulate water. If the temperature changes, it restarts to maintain your setting. With mobile app scheduling, you can run it only when needed to save power and extend lifespan.

Does it have ozone purification?

Yes. The Ultra Chiller includes a built-in ozone system that helps kill bacteria and keeps your water fresher for longer with less maintenance.

Does it have filtration?

Yes. It includes a dual filtration setup with a removable metal pre-filter and a large internal filter for cleaner water.

The Ultra Chiller sits at approximately 65 to 68 decibels, which is considered quiet for a commercial grade 1HP chiller. For context, this is similar to the sound of a household fan, a dishwasher, or a normal conversation. The larger compressor produces more power, but the unit is engineered to keep sound levels controlled while delivering strong cooling performance.

Do I need to buy any ongoing replacements like filters?

The metal pre-filter does not need replacing. It can be removed, rinsed, and reused. The larger internal filter will need replacing approximately every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how often you use your ice bath and the quality of your water.

Are your hoses insulated?

Yes. All hoses are insulated to maintain temperature and use high-pressure PVC to prevent leaking, swelling, or cracking.
